The team comprises 80 design staff, primarily based at offices in Tipton, Pegasus, Avonbank and Cardiff.  It handles in excess of 500 active design commissions at any time ranging in capital value from £50k to £10m.

  • Preparation of detailed engineering drawings/ diagrams in an AutoCAD environment

The Ideal Candidate

Where candidates do not have familiarity with all of the above areas, they would be expected to demonstrate certain core skills in an engineering design environment. Where applicants initially lack particular skills, appointment on a designate basis may be considered. Training and support will be given to assist the appointee to develop into the role where necessary.

Candidates will further be expected to demonstrate customer focus, flexibility, good communication skills and an ability to manage a number of design commissions.

Candidates should ideally be qualified to a national certificate level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
