  • Prepare vehicles for disposal and salvage usable equipment.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and put forward constructive suggestions.
  • Promote a positive and professional image of the team at all times.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety requirements for yourself, colleagues and the Company.
  • Work in line with established team standards, individual responsibilities and task-specific procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant legislation relating to vehicle repair, maintenance and condition.
  • Undertake ongoing training and self-development to keep up to date with technological advancements relevant to the role.

You will be a skilled and experienced vehicle mechanic/fleet technician, have the ability to perform routine preventative maintenance and diagnose more complex repairs.

Competent with IT systems for updating vehicle records, reporting, and accessing technical information, and skilled in using tools and diagnostic equipment including welding and fabrication.

Alongside a good approach to customer service you will have strong teamworking skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies and work practices. Be capable to manage urgent workloads in time‑critical environments to keep essential fleet vehicles operational.
